Missional Communities

Missional Communities (MC) are groups of 20-30 people who meet weekly (refer to home page for current mc gatherings) to share life together by following the essence of Acts 2:42. The Apostle’s teaching, fellowship, sharing a common meal and prayer. This is the focus of missional community. Where we do this and why we do this is important.

Where We Meet

Padrino’s Cuban Cuisine West Boca
West Boca meets Tuesday (refer to home page for current mc gatherings) at 7pm in the Mission Bay Plaza.

Why We Meet in Restaurants and Worship Publicly

As we seek Christ in the context of culture we release the supernatural on earth as it is in heaven. The tension of Christ & culture give birth to community. With Jesus as her head this is the kind of community that can change a city.

As we look at what it means to be a transformational community one of several key elements needed is a consistent home. Giving the gospel a place to live and call home in a highly relational context such as a restaurant is a must in planting the gospel in the city for change. We believe we are bringing more of heaven to earth as we meet and engage the gospel, the power of God, in an unashamed fashion for the sake of God’s glory.

“…the gospel is, the glory of God found in the cross of Jesus Christ that brings about a transformation of life by the Holy Spirit.”
